We have a very very soft plush bunny, and a kiwi from New Zealand. Leyla is starting to giggle, and she likes it when we play with her with these toys. Long video, but cute (of course), after the cut.

Thursday, December 18th, 2008One more day in the hospital
Friday, October 10th, 2008We’re going to stay one more day before heading home. Everything is fine, but we want some more time with help from nurses, etc, and to take advantage of some of the newborn baby educational stuff that they do here. We should be returning home tomorrow (Saturday). I’m going to try to get one of the nurses to do a quick family photo today, which I’ll post if I get.
Leyla has returned to our room
Thursday, October 9th, 2008No more NICU for her! We’re very glad to have her back, and are probably heading home some time tomorrow.
Leyla to return to Amanda’s room
Thursday, October 9th, 2008After a period of observation and testing in the NICU, it has been decided that Leyla is healthy and fit to return to the normal nursery / Amanda’s room. She has to get one more dose of antibiotics early this afternoon, and then she will be spending more time with us.
